0250L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/13/25

There will be a chance for showers and maybe a thunderstorm today as an upper wave moves across the area and a cold front pushes in from the NNW. Temps will hover around the upper 60s to low 70s. This moisture should lessen the fire danger for today. We’ll warm back up starting Tuesday and we expect a stronger storm system by late week. We’ll see what happens then.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Monday- A slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Showers likely. Cooler with highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Monday Night- Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
