0300L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 9/15/25
GENERAL THUNDERSTORM RISK later today with gusty winds, hail, and heavy rainfall as the main threats. If storms do occur, they should be high based and the wind issue would occur with collapsing storms. This goes along with the popcorn storms. They’ll build quickly, rain out and collapse. We’ll see how this works out later today.
Otherwise, another warm day with mild winds.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Monday- Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Monday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
