TODAY’S WEATHER OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT – 2/22/2026

Good morning, Garfield County.

We’re starting off cold today with clear skies across the area. Sunshine will stick with us through much of the day, but it’s going to stay on the chilly side with afternoon highs only reaching the upper 40s. If you’re heading out this morning, you’ll definitely want a coat.

According to the National Weather Service, we’ll begin a warming trend as we move into the new week. Highs climb into the 50s Monday, then jump into the upper 60s and low 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday. Winds will pick up a bit midweek, and the elevated fire weather returns Tuesday.

Overall, we’re looking at a dry stretch with plenty of sunshine and a noticeable warm-up after today’s chill.

HERE IS YOUR FORECAST FROM THE NWS NORMAN:

TODAY – Sunny, with a high near 47. North wind 7 to 11 mph.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, with a low around 19. East northeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Have a great Day!
