0310L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/18/25
We are in a GENERAL RISK AREA for thunderstorms this morning if they occur here. The front will move thru, as it appears, sometime later this morning. The trough out west will push in and across the area later this morning and into the afternoon. T-storms by that time should occur east of us. We will cool down a little after frontal passage but we do expect a stronger front Monday evening. Rain chances this morning are 50/50. We’ll see what happens.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Saturday- Partly sunny with a chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the mid-70s. South winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Saturday Night- Mostly clear. Cooler. Less humid with lows in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
