0255L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/4/25
Winds will be increasing this afternoon as this high pressure ridge that is over us begins to break down. We could see some gusts upwards to 30 mph. We have a cold front that will enter the area either late Sunday or early Monday bringing some cooler air into the area. We’ll see what happens for sure other than high temps in the 70s and some rainfall when it comes through. If you’re traveling today, be careful while driving in crosswinds.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Saturday- Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Saturday Night- Clear. Low in the mid-60s. South winds 15-20 mph with gusting to 30 mph.
