0315L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 9/21/25
We are in a GENERAL RISK AREA for additional thunderstorms today. If storms do go severe, it would be for large hail and damaging winds. Monday we’ll jump back up into the Marginal Risk. We’ll have a chance for rain off and on, all week. If storms occur again, they will be slow moving and may cause additional flooding issues as last night. Use caution while driving.
If anyone has sustained damage from yesterdays storms, please send that info to me either on our app under Damage Reports or Ask the Director. You can email it to mike@gcem.org too.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Sunday- Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Sunday Night- A slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
