HEAT ADVISORY in effect from 1300L(1PM) until 2000L(8PM).

MARGINAL RISK for severe weather this afternoon into tonight. Main threat will be damaging outflow winds. There is a weak front and a trough working their way through the area and rain chances will go up later today. Just be aware that we can still be affected by the winds if storms are close enough. We’ll see how this mess comes together.

Today- Sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Highs in the upper 90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent. Heat index values up to 106.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers & thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe in the evening. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
