0320L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/16/25

Warm weather continues. As the storm system moves closer, there is a very slight chance that a shower or two may occur” late” tonight into early Friday morning. The main show, per guidance, should be Friday late afternoon into the overnight hours as that system out west moves across the area. Saturday, we expect the front to push through. We’ll see what happens.

Fire concerns will pop-up for next week so we’ll look into this and advise as guidance is confirmed. We will be dry and warm, as it appears.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Thursday- Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Thursday Night- Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.
