0250L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 9/18/25

We are in a MARGINAL RISK for severe weather again today. We didn’t see any rainfall yesterday but maybe we’ll get lucky today. We have a 40% chance today and later tonight so we’ll wait and see where everything lines up. If storms finally do occur, winds and hail would be the main issues. Depending on how this mornings forecast pans out will depend on where storms occur later today.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Thursday- Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.

Thursday Night- Partly cloudy with a chance of showers. A chance of thunderstorms, mainly in the evening. Lows in the lower 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming southwest after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent.
