TUESDAY WEATHER OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT – 01/27/2026
Slightly warmer today as we reach highs in the low 30s. We are currently at 11 degrees with a wind chill factor of 6 degrees. If you get out to enjoy the snow be sure to dress appropriately. Most main highways and streets have been cleared, but keep in mind that side roads and parking lots are still snow covered. Whatever snow does melt, will refreeze overnight, so black ice will become an issue. Leave early, and take your time getting to your destination especially in the overnight – morning hours.
Here is your forecast from the NWS/Norman:
TODAY – Sunny this morning, then becoming partly sunny. Cold with highs in the lower 30s. West winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming north this afternoon. Wind chill values as low as 2 below this morning.
TONIGHT– Mostly cloudy. Cold with lows around 8 above. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming northwest after midnight.
Have a great day, and enjoy the sunshine!
