0335L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 7/8/25
MARGINAL RISK for severe storms pretty much this afternoon into the overnight hours. Per guidance, downburst winds and localized flooding will be possible. The plume of moisture is still in the area along with strong instability. This said, when storms form, they will form quickly, rain out and reform along the outflow boundaries similar to yesterday. Not sure where exactly storms will form but if they form over your location, use extreme caution as lightning will also be a factor. Finally, we remain under NW FLOW aloft so any storms that come our way will probably arrive from the north or northwest.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Tuesday- Mostly sunny. Humid with highs in the mid-90s. South winds around 5 mph.
Tuesday Night- Mostly clear. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. Southeast winds around 5 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
