0400L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 8/27/25

Rain chances continue today through the labor day weekend along with cool temps. This actually is nice compared to the upper 90s and high humidity we had experienced earlier this month. For those wanting warmer weather, we should poke our heads above 80 by Monday. Until then, enjoy the cooler weather.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Showers with a chance of thunderstorms this morning, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid-60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
