0250L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK AND INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 12/31/25
Warm with winds becoming southwesterly this afternoon. Dry conditions will continue into next week. The fire danger will remain a bit touchy so be careful out there.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your New Year’s Eve forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday-Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Northwest winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night-Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the upper 20s. Southwest winds around 5 mph, becoming northwest after midnight.
THE ABOVE STATED:
Today is my last day as your Emergency Manager. Hard to believe it’s been over 30 years since I started this journey but ALL journeys do come to an end. It’s been an honor and privilege to have served the residents of Garfield County and the surrounding counties over the years.
Many have asked if I will continue to post weather and other info. I will not be posting everyday anymore. I have decided to post on high end severe weather days and those posts will only be on my Facebook pages. YES, I will do live posts too. I will be changing the @EGCEM page to another name in the next few days. Some will unfollow that page because besides severe weather, I will post the TRUTH about solar, wind, electric, & many other issues here and around the area. I will not post political issues. When I do state the truth, there will be a link to that info so you can read it for yourself. I have been restricted from making comments on some things because of my jobs. That ends tonight at midnight.
Again, THANK YOU ALL for your support and I will still be around but mainly in the background.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
