0340L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 7/9/25
HOT with highs in the mid-90s and a heat index possibly into the 100’s. We are also in a MARGINAL RISK for severe storms again this evening and overnight. “If” storms occur up in our area during the day, it would most likely be along any remnant outflow boundary left over from last night. In the evening, storms would dive out of Kansas once again and most likely diminish, for the most part after sundown. We’ll wait and see on this one. Hail and winds would be the main issues if they do occur.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday- Sunny with highs in the mid-90s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night- Mostly clear. Humid with lows around 70. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
