0255L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 11/12/25

WARM, with light easterly winds for today. Thursday, winds will increase along with temps and by Friday, we could possibly reach close to 80 degrees. I think Mother Nature is confused. Either way, we’ll definitely feel the warmth for several days and then we’ll cool off a little next week. Since Mother Nature is confused, enjoy the warmth and keep an eye out for smoke and fire.

Due to the sun flares, the aurora is showing up here as a reddish hue. I will post some pics HERE that I took this morning around 3 am.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Wednesday- Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming east in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
