0255L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/1/25
A few mid-level clouds will traverse the area this morning and give way to clear skies this afternoon. Warm temps around 90 are expected. It’s just another warm day with winds around 10 mph with maybe a few higher gusts. Normally in October our highs average in the mid to upper 70s to low 80s. I am sure we’ll get there within a short timeframe. Hang in there folks!
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday- Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Some of you noticed a new logo that I posted on my EM page. Coins are too expensive to get and I don’t need 100 of them, which is the minimum. I will be using that logo on some of my printed material between now and December 31st. Thank you for the comments and we’ll see what happens between now and then. Thanks to Jake Price for doing this for me. He will assume the County Director position on January 1st, 2026

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
