0255L- WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/15/25
Warm weather with light winds, for the most part, can be expected through most of Friday. Models, per guidance, are coming into better agreement concerning the possibility for severe weather later on Friday afternoon into the overnight hours. The general consensus is that the system out west will merge with a cold front pushing in and both have slowed down some and should affect the area later on Friday into Saturday morning. A reinforcing front will push in later on Saturday too. The severe threat, right now, appears to be large hail and damaging winds. More details as they come out.
Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
Wednesday- Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
Wednesday Night- Clear. Lows in the upper 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
