0310L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 9/10/25

It appears we will be warming back up into the 90s for the rest of the week into the weekend. We do have a good chance for thunderstorms this morning if they make it this far out of southern Kansas, but nothing severe is expected. See radar pic as of 0308L. If they do reach us, gusty winds 50-55 mph are possible along with heavy rainfall. It’s a ways out so we’ll see what happens.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 90. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
