0255L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 9/24/25

We are in a GENERAL RISK AREA for thunderstorms, mainly this morning. This said, if storms do occur, they shouldn’t be severe. We do expect the rain this morning but it should become partly cloudy this afternoon and then clearing off overnight. After this morning’s possible rain, it should be over for us for the next several days with low chances coming in over the weekend into next week.

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Wednesday- Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming partly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the mid-70s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Wednesday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.
