0350L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/21/18
1- Warm weather expected until Sunday. There will be a few troughs move through mainly causing wind shifts and some light rain, maybe. The question will be Sunday. There is a storm system over western Alaska right now that if models are correct will mainly impact Kansas. If the storm track shifts a little more southerly, we could see some snow. Otherwise we may only see a rain/snow mix. It’s still over 4 days out so don’t too jittery yet as guidance is changing with each update. Forecasters at the NWS are keeping an eye on this.
2-Until Sunday, keep a jacket handy for the evenings and enjoy the sunshine for the next few days. Now is a good time to get some yardwork done if needed.
3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Wednesday-Sunny with a high near 59. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Wednesday Night-clear with a low around 35. South wind around 10 mph.
