0300L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 10/6/25

A cold front will be moving towards us today bringing with it a chance for showers and thunderstorms later today and tonight. There is an outside chance we may see a sprinkle or two before then but overall, we’ll see rain tonight. Temps will fall into the upper 60s to low 70s for highs Tuesday and Wednesday then we’ll jump back up into the 80s for the rest of the week into the weekend. Nothing like a tease of fall temps then back to late summer again..

Overall, we’ll be ok, so here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Monday- Sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Monday Night- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
