0325L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 2/7/25

*Similar to yesterday, we’ll see some cloud cover and then some clearing but it will remain cool. Highs in the upper 40s and overnight lows tonight will be in the upper 30s to low 40s. Another Cold front pushes in on Saturday bringing in much colder air. Winter weather returns late Monday with chances for all types of winter precipitation through at least Wednesday.

I want to stress to everyone that when the winter weather hits with whatever precip it brings, slow down and don’t overdrive road conditions. Several accidents have been occurring with the freezing fog conditions because the roads LOOKED OK when they weren’t. Just use extreme caution.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. Northeast winds around 5 mph, becoming south this afternoon.

Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows around 40. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming south after midnight.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
