0350L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/26/21

1-Warm and windy as we move towards the weekend. Rain chances for us look very low so hopefully it stays that way. We’ll have another front push in Saturday shifting winds out of the north but moisture return looks meager so again, low chances for rain.

2- We’re in that time of the year for what I call the battle of the seasons so we may be warm one day and cool the next so we’ll have to deal with this until we get a little further into the spring. Just remember that when we do have storms, your level of preparedness will depend on how well you actually prepared.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Partly sunny, with a high near 73. South wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph.

Friday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 46. South wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Don’t forget our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. PREPAREDNESS=RESILIENCE

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
