0430L-FRIDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/11/18

1- WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7PM TONIGHT. WIND GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE AT TIMES DURING THE DAY. EAST/WEST TRAVEL ESPECIALLY IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES MAY BE DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

2- In western Oklahoma, there is a MARGINAL risk for possibly a severe storm or two if the cap can be broken. If storms occur, they will be severe with hail and winds as the main threats. They would also decrease in intensity after dark per NWS Guidance.

3-Here at home, just windy and warm. Winds will be strong over the next several days but should decrease a little each day.

4-THE FIRE DANGER WILL BE HIGHER TODAY SO BE VERY CAREFUL OUT THERE.
