FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-FRIDAY-11/24/17

I hope everyone’s Thanksgiving went well.  Today will be similar to yesterday except for the wind.

The FIRE DANGER is increasing and you will probably get sick and tired of hearing this all of the time but it is very important that you keep your eyes peeled for smoke or fire and report it ASAP to 911.

That said, there is a very slight chance for rain around mid-week but I wouldn’t hold my breath on that. We can only hope.  Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Friday-Sunny, with a high near 78. South southwest wind 8 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Friday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 45. South southeast wind 7 to 11 mph becoming north northeast in the evening.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
