0400L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/19/18

1- Rain this morning, partly sunny this afternoon, mostly clear tonight. There will be a front push through later today but no noticeable temperature changes are expected, just the windshift.

2- The weekend looks good with warm days and cool nights and so does Monday per guidance. I’ll leave the rest of next week alone since many things can change.

3- That said, 11 days are left before out DISASTER RESILIENCE SEMINAR. We have nearly 100 folks that have R.S.V.P. for the seminar.  As stated before, I would like to see at least 1 person from each business, school, hotel, construction companies, etc.  to attend so you can take what you learn back to your company. This isn’t just for Enid and Garfield County; surrounding counties are invited too. Go to the gcem.org website and scroll to the middle of the page and check out the agenda. Surely 1 person can spare a day to come and learn then go back and share what they have learned with others. That’s PREPAREDNESS. Hope to see you all here.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning, then partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 60s. Southwest winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight-Clear. Lows in the mid 40s. Light and variable winds becoming north around 10 mph after midnight.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!

MIKE
