September has been Preparedness Month. Many folks have actually made the attempt to plan and prepare. Some haven’t. It will be very apparent who has and who hasn’t whenever the next major event occurs. Only you know what you need to do for yourself and your family. Just look back on the extreme conditions caused by Hurricanes. Imagine what a major ice event might do! It’s up to you.
My prediction for this winter is cold with a good chance for a few Ice Storms. Snow may be in the picture at times but I feel we will have a better chance for ice events since we seem to be a little warmer these days. NO ONE can predict exactly what may happen but we’ll take it one day at a time. Computer models will vary so keep up with the latest from your NON-DRAMA SOURCE.
Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Friday-Patchy drizzle with a slight chance of showers before 7am. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. Northeast wind 3 to 8 mph.
Friday Night-Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. East wind 3 to 6 mph.
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
