0355L-“MERRY CHRISTMASFROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/25/17

I HOPE TODAY BRINGS JOY AND HAPPINESS TO ALL OF YOU.

I will keep this as short as possible. We will have several fronts this week that will bring very cold air and a small chance for precipitation each time. It would be great if we could actually get some deep moisture into the area as we are very dry. The FIRE DANGER will be enhanced so be extremely careful and report ANY smoke or fire to 911 as quickly as possible. It’s better to respond to something small than something very large. We don’t mind, this is what we do no matter what day it is.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Christmas Day-Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. South southeast wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

Monday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 19. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph becoming northeast after midnight.

ENJOY YOUR DAY and PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

MIKE
