0305L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 4/5/25

Another day with a chance for thundershowers and then we have a chance for a rain/snow mix later tonight into Sunday. We could see another quarter of an inch or so of rainfall. Impacts from snow should be minimal due to surface temps but if temps get down below freezing and the roads are wet, bridges and overpasses could become slick and hazardous. Use caution while driving.

We will be close to freezing and it appears we will drop below that especially Monday morning so be sure to disconnect hoses that you reconnected while we were warmer. You don’t need any busted pipes.

Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Showers this morning. Breezy with highs in the mid-40s. North winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Tonight- Cloudy with a chance of rain showers. A chance of snow showers after midnight. Little or no snow accumulation. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. North winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation 50 percent.
