0315L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 8/31/24
*Are you prepared for Fall & Winter? Information will be coming soon to read and hopefully be utilized to get ready for those long cold winter days & nights. Also, be sure and download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re NOT prepared without it.
*We had a small shower overnight but overall, not much in the way of drought relief. These showers will drift off to the east today and we’ll have temps warm into the mid and upper 80s. Still cool for late August but better than 100’s. For today, we should see more sunshine so get out and get the chores done then enjoy the cooler temps. Our next chance for rain and or thunderstorms will be Sunday evening as yet another front pushes into the area.
*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the mid-60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
