FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-SATURDAY-12/23/17

A few flurries were reported but as stated in previous posts, not much accumulation was expected. It appears we will have fairly calm weather for a few days with highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s and overnight lows in the 20’s. Overall, WINTER is here.

I think the biggest threat out there is folks pushing shopping carts around at major stores. If they drive like they push shopping carts, we’re all in trouble. Just be careful not only on the roads but in any store with those carts.

Here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny, with a high near 43. Light and variable wind becoming east southeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 23. East southeast wind 6 to 14 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY AND SHOP DEFENSIVELY!!
