0355L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/29/18

1- Today is the last Saturday of 2018 and we will be a bit chilly. We should be partly cloudy to clear later as the day progresses. At least the winds will be light even though the wind chill will still be evident.

2- The FIRE DANGER is still around so continue to be careful out there. The recent rain we had was great for the ground. It doesn’t do anything for the dead foliage thus if a fire starts, it just makes it harder to get out into the fields without getting stuck. Please be careful.

3- Have you thought about how PREPAREDNESS works into PLANNING to go out and party? Monday night many folks will go out and party. What’s your PLAN in the event you drink too much? Do you have a designated driver? Even partying at home can cause issues. THINK, PLAN, and PREPARE. I don’t want to see “ANYONE” INJURED, ARRESTED, or WORSE, just because drinking caused bad decision-making. Is BAIL MONEY available in your budget? Just be careful and think through all situations. I call this STRATEGIC THINKING, it only takes once to ruin your future, just sayin.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 34. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Saturday Night-Clear, with a low around 22. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph after midnight.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
