0405L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 2/1/25
*Without getting into major detail, we are warming up a bit, warm air aloft will mix down to the surface and we’ll see wind gusts upwards of 30-35 mph. With dry foliage, the fire danger will be elevated. I am posting a graphic to address what you can do to prevent fires. That said, our high temps will average between 50 to 70 degrees this week.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny, breezy with highs in the mid-60s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. South winds 15 to 20 mph.
