0305L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/26/22

1- It will be cool today before the warmup really gets going on Sunday. Mid to upper 30s is ok for now. Its better than 19 degrees. We’ll be in the 50s tomorrow. This week looks to be a warm one as the next chance for rain looks to be on Friday. We’ll see what happens.

2-Remember, we are still in an “Extreme Drought” so use caution outside when utilizing anything related to fire.

3-Several weeks ago I had ask that you all to please go to our website and take the surveys for our HAZARD MITIGATION UPDATE. Only 5 folks did. This is a little disappointing. I will ask again that you take a few minutes to take the surveys, especially number 3 if nothing else. Your participation is important. They don’t take long to do. All 3 are here- www.gcem.org Thank you.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 30s. North winds around 5 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Cold with lows around 18. Northwest winds around 5 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
