0325L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 12/31/23

*Colder air is pushing in as I type this morning since a cold front pushed in late last night. You will notice that temps will be cooler and winds will be stronger thus a chill in the air will occur. This is the last day of 2023 so why not be colder and cloudy?

*For January 1st, the weather will be similar to today except winds should become southeasterly. Our next chance for precip might be Tuesday but that’s looking bleak right now but Friday looks like we could see possibly some snowfall. We’ll see how that comes together.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Partly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 40s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the lower 20s. North winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
