0340L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 6/30/24
*No advisories today since we appear that we’ll be a bit cooler due to some cloud cover. Several areas received 1.5 inches of rainfall yesterday so let me know your totals. I received ZERO rain here on the west side of Enid. The winds were a bit tough in some areas too so let me know those approximate wind speeds that you experienced.
*Per guidance, we may see some more rainfall today as the front actually pushes through the area. It appears that it’s still in the region and there are storms in Kansas that may sneak into the area again this morning into the afternoon. We’ll see what happens.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Tonight- Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Humid with lows in the lower 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
*Finally, sorry for the disappearance after my short live broadcast but we had an air conditioner drip pan issue occur in the attic and that had to be resolved. I did keep up with what was happening. It was a bit hot up there too. It’s resolved, I hope!! HVAC folks may get a call on Monday.
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
