0400L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/31/21

1- Cooler today with NNE winds. There will be some high clouds around but we’ll have mostly sunny skies. Today starts a gradual downward trend in temps and precipitation chances go up as the week moves forward. A subtle warning for this week; freezing temps are possible Thursday and Friday mornings so make sure you are prepared. Disconnect hoses from the house or wells. The last thing anyone may need is a broken pipe.

2- Overall, you may want to give yourself a refresher when it comes to colder weather and you can do so here- https://www.weather.gov/safety/cold and you can read some tips on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app under Your Emergency then tap Preparedness. The app is loaded with info. Take some time to check it out. It just could save your life in a bad situation.
