0350L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/25/22

1- Another cold front will push through the area early today cooling things off a little once again. Highs should be in the 80’s and lows starting tonight will be down into the 50’s. This looks like a slight cool down is slowing beginning. We’ll still see variations from time to time but overall, fall temps are easing into the region.

2-The Fire Danger is still an important item to keep in mind. With humidity low and gusty winds at times, extreme caution, even burning trash out in the rural areas, is advised. Call 911 if anything gets out of control and make sure the fires are completely out before leaving the area.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok. We just need some substantial rainfall. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight- Clear. Lows in the lower 50s. North winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
