0350L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-4/7/2020

1- The sun returns today HOPEFULLY for more than an hour. That should make recess for all the home-schooled kids very happy. Even the winds will be mostly light and variable. A front might push in this morning but not too sure how far south it will get. Temps behind this front won’t be very cool so we look to stay in the upper 70s to low 80s. That said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Partly sunny with a high near 84. Southwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 53. South southeast wind around 5 mph.

DIRECTORS COMMENT

Since we are under a stay at home order from the Governor, the Garfield County Health Department and I had a discussion to put a little more information out over our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app that also is placed on my Enid/Garfield County Emergency Management page on Facebook. The shortcut from my personal page to the EM page is @EGCEM so you shouldn’t have any issues finding it. You will also find it on our app under that COVID 19 icon under LOCAL INFORMATION.

The information they are putting there is educational so if you have some extra time from home-schooling then maybe you can teach the kids some new information that just might save their lives in the future. It couldn’t hurt!!

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
