FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT. You all know what this means so be careful with anything having to do with fire.
There are major weather risks for severe weather in eastern Oklahoma and farther east. If you plan on traveling, CHECK THE FORECAST FIRST and then travel with caution. Personally, I wouldn’t travel east of the state at all today if possible.
If you want to feel and smell the moisture in the air, go outside now. It’s 0340 and 59 degrees. Winds will increase later from the SW bringing in dryer air and then a cold front will push through later this afternoon into the evening hours bringing cooler temps. Other than this info, not too much going on. 🙂

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Cloudy, with a high near 75. South wind 11 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. South southwest wind 14 to 22 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
MIKE
