0315L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 2/4/25

*A dramatic change from yesterday to today. Lower temps with highs in the 30s and north winds with possibly some drizzle. Drive with caution! This said, the rest of the week, we’ll see highs in the low to mid 50s and by Sunday, temps will drop with another cold wave with the possibility of winter precipitation. We’ll keep an eye on this as forecasts verify or not.

 Yesterday was shorts weather, today is winter weather. Dress the young ones properly and with a coat! Make sure pets are fed and watered too.

 Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. A slight chance of very light drizzle and very light freezing drizzle. Much cooler with highs around 40. North winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of very light drizzle. Lows in the mid-30s. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
