0345L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/20/21

1-We are under dome of high pressure meaning nice weather, light winds, and warming temps. Rain chances are virtually zero for a while now so get outside and enjoy the warmth. Highs this week will reach at least into the mid-90s and lows will average from the mid-60s to mid-70s. Per guidance, higher humidity may return sometime this weekend. That said, here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night-Clear. Lows in the mid-60s. East winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

2- There is quite a bit of controlled burning going on. Controlled burning means that someone, preferably the landowner, is out there keeping an eye on things. If there is fire and nobody is out there, call 911 and report the fire. If they are not aware of a particular burn, a response will be sent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
