0410L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/30/21

1- A front will traverse the area this morning shifting winds from the south to the north-northeast. Some of that dirt that flew by yesterday may return to us sometime during the day. We shouldn’t see any precip with this front but the southeast part of the state may as it works its way southeast. We will see cooler temps and some gusty NE winds but nothing like yesterday, at least right now.

2- Overall, our rain chances this week are very low so stay vigilant on the smoke and fire situation and call 911 if you see any. We continue to ask that any controlled burning be delayed until winds settle down. We appreciate that.

3- There is apparently an issue with the NWS websites around the country. Here is your forecast for today based on another program I use when this happens;

Today- Partly cloudy with highs in the low 60’s. North winds 15-25 mph.

I’ll try to update if they can get the NWS issues fixed.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
