0315L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 9/03/24

*Expect cloudy conditions today similar to yesterday. We may see some sunshine this afternoon so we’ll see what happens. We do expect to stay in the mid 80’s so enjoy the cooler weather. We should average in the mid to upper 80’s all week. Lows will be in the 60’s.

*We are under severe drought conditions right now so use extreme caution if doing any controlled burning. Call 580-234-3473 if you live outside the Enid City limits and if you live within the city limits, you’ll need a permit from EFD. If you see smoke or fire, don’t assume we know about it. Call 911 and report the location as best you can. They’ll send a response.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

*AS STATED BEFORE- Are you prepared for Fall & Winter? Information will be coming soon for you to read and hopefully be utilized to get ready for those cold winter days & nights. Also, be sure and download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re NOT prepared without it.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
