1- GARFIELD COUNTY EM. Without this app, you’re NOT prepared. Download it today from iTunes for iPhone’s or Google Play for Androids.

2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday- Patchy fog before 7am. Otherwise partly sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night-Partly cloudy with a low around 49. Light and variable wind.

3- We received 1.25 inches of rainfall early yesterday and given that we are slowly warming up, we’ll have to start dealing with those pesky mosquitoes. With the West Nile problem around the region, now is a great time to go get some mosquito dunks and put them in ANY STANDING WATER that is near or around your property. Coordinate with your neighbors on this and keep the kids out of that water. Snakes are already showing up too, so Spring is here. One more thing, have you ever been outside just checking things out and suddenly an eye swells shut?  Buffalo gnats are out there too. Protect yourselves!  JUST A FEW TIPS FROM YOUR LOCAL E.M.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
