FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-WEDNESDAY-12/27/17

I’m going out on a limb saying the following but I really feel it’s safe to say that ARCTIC AIR IS HERE. It’s 16 degrees out with calm winds and we will stay in the mid 20’s for highs again today.  Let’s prepare a declaration that says you don’t have to go back to work until the temperature reaches your age!! WOW!! I’d be home until SPRING!!

Seriously though, we do have dangerously cold air in place so cover up, check on the kids often if playing outside and make sure your pets are watered and protected.

Here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Wind chill values as low as -1. Northeast wind around 8 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 17. South southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

STAY WARM AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

MIKE
