0310L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-02/01/23

GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our notification/preparedness app. Being prepared will give you peace of mind. Download our app today.

* Graphics can be seen here- https://www.weather.gov/oun/  They will change during the day.

*It appears that for most of the day, we may be precipitation free. Our risk, if it happens, starts this evening and it all depends on temperature. We could see rain initially then some snow and then overnight some freezing rain. NOTHING to panic about yet. The forecasts change several times during the day so we’ll keep an eye out and see where this mess will actually track. Just be prepared for this, just in case. Winds tonight should be around 5 mph. There is another briefing this morning so if there are any major changes, I will send an APP advisory.

*Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy. Highs in the lower 30s. South winds around 5 mph.

Tonight- Cloudy with a slight chance of freezing rain. A slight chance of rain showers in the evening, then a slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Cold with lows in the upper 20s. South winds around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation 20 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
