0300L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 11/5/25

No advisories for today as of yet. We should have a lot of sunshine though along with gusty NNE winds as another front will push through the area this morning. Another weak front will push through late Thursday night and then a strong cold front that will bring freezing temps Sunday and Monday morning. These fronts are expected to come through dry. Now would be a good time to double check everything outside to make sure you are ready for freezing temps.

NOTE: Being prepared isn’t complicated. If you look at the many organizations that put out info, it looks like you have to break the bank to even get prepared. If you see a list of items you would like to have ready but can’t get them all at once, just do that gradually. Pick up a few extra items each time you go shopping and before long you have what you need. REMEMBER- lists are suggestions. Only get what YOU think you would need to have for you and your family, NOT what the world tells you. Each family is unique in needs so shop responsively. Here is a link to our preparedness guide. Download it if you would like too.
