 I have added a statement to the website under Preparedness Tips. You can read it here- www.gcem.org
 A cool morning out there right now at 0315-55 degrees and it looks like our high will possibly make it to 80 or so. It does feel really nice even if it is a bit chilly.
 As the relief effort for Harvey victims continues, keep in mind that the effort will be on going for months if not years. The most dangerous issue right now will be disease. Yes, we have most diseases under control but folks going down to that area need to consider getting your hepatitis and tetanus shots. There are chemicals, sewage, and many other contaminants in the water and now on the ground in areas where the water has receded so just take a few precautions if you feel the need to go. Dried residual chemicals may be on furniture that folks may keep so a cleaner that will basically sterilize anything that will be kept is a good idea. Also, I have read in briefings that the mosquitoes are on the loose too. I would recommend a good mosquito repellent with deet.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Wednesday-Sunny, with a high near 79. North wind 3 to 6 mph.
Wednesday Night-Mostly clear, with a low around 55. North wind 5 to 7 mph becoming south after midnight.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!
