0305L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/10/22

1-Big weather changes coming in today with a low chance for showers & thunderstorms. What will be noticed the most after frontal passage will be the drop in temps. We’ll reach our high temperature this morning and we’ll see what our low ends up to be later today.

2-Temps and wind chill will be the major issues over the next 3-5 days so be sure to keep that coat with you as the air moving in our direction is continental polar in origin meaning it’s cold air.

3- Be sure to disconnect hoses from faucets and make sure your vehicles are ready for this much colder air. OVERALL, we’ll be ok, just a bit colder so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

 Today-Partly sunny this morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers.  Highs in the lower 70s. Temperature falling into the upper 50s this afternoon. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph, becoming north this afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight-Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then mostly clear after midnight. Much colder with lows around 30. North winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
